How we collect personal information
Musica Viva Tasmania has engaged the Theatre Royal Box Office as its subscription ticketing agent. The information that you provide in purchasing tickets will be collected and retained by both organisations. By purchasing tickets you consent to this taking place. We collect personal information from you only when you provide information by phone, email, post or in person in the process of subscribing or buying tickets, or when you make a donation. Your information is stored securely according to privacy regulations and all credit card transactions are processed securely. 

How we use your personal information
Your personal information will be used only to process orders and to provide a more personalised service.

In particular it will be used to:

provide the specific services you require, such as renewing your subscription and posting your tickets,

administer and manage those services,

communicate with you about Musica Viva Tasmania events usually via email if possible, especially ensuring you can be contacted if there are changes to or cancellation of events.

When we disclose your personal information
Unless you request that it does not do so, Musica Viva Tasmania may use your personal information to provide you with marketing information about future Musica Viva Tasmania products and services, and those of other relevant arts organisations.

In order to deliver the services you require, we may give consent to the Theatre Royal to disclose your personal information to other organisations. Your personal information is disclosed to these organisations only in relation to us providing our services to you. 

We take reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.
